Hepatitis Foundation International Appoints
Local Healthcare Executive to Key Position
SILVER SPRING, MD, June 25, 2013 – Hepatitis International Foundation (HFI) appoints Ivonne Perlaza Fuller as Executive Vice President on the verge of the its 20th year anniversary reflecting its continued evolution and growth as it embarks on its next phase of development as an organization.
Ivonne Perlaza Fuller brings extensive experience in healthcare as an entrepreneur and in corporate relations, business development, fundraising and policy both nationally and internationally to HFI. During her career, she has served as CEO of Think Out The Box Company, LLC, Co- Founder and Board Chair, Third Millennium Health COOP of DC, an Assistant Professor in the Allied Health Sciences Department at Howard University, chosen as a Fellow with the Harvard University Policy Institute and has consulted on Capitol Hill as a Senior Policy Fellow. She has also held the position of Associate Executive Director with the National Medical Association.

Ms. Fuller’s accomplishments include, being honored as a Community Leader in Who’s Who of Washington, DC 2010. Ms. Fuller’s work comprised of extensive articles and publications has been published in peer-reviewed journals both in the U.S. and internationally. She has appeared on local radio on a broad range of health and social issues and launched seven viable companies across different industries. Her academic background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, concentration International Business and Spanish Studies and a Master’s Degree in Public Health Administration.
